Meet the maker

Having lived in Cornwall from an early age, my work has largely been influenced by the West Cornwall peninsula, an area where I work and live.

Since my early 20’s, the sea has been central to my livelihood, my life and my family has depended upon it. It is therefore a predominant inspiration and feature of not only my life but my work.

With this in mind, line, contour, form and colour run through the designs of my jewellery, with an emphasis on simplicity.

The pieces that I create are contemporary with clean lines and distinctive style.

Whether a simple gold nugget stud, a grey stone swathed in silver, or a bespoke bangle or necklace, each piece is individually made by myself. It’s class and quality gives any wearer and enhancement to any chosen outfit, irrespective of style, age and colour.

When selecting stones or glass that I incorporate into my work, I am drawn to colour and intensity. Anything that I subsequently use in my design must compliment the silver or gold that most enhances their look. I generally veer towards more organic and muted hues.

I seek to design pieces that subtly imbue a style, and take great pleasure in each step of the process; from design, to creation, to finish. Jewellery that is specifically designed to stand alone.
